Real Women's Duathlon
Don’t miss the 2008 SPARC REAL Women’s Duathlon Series. It’s a fun way to push play this summer.
The finish line is easier to reach than you might think. It’s an achievable 3.5km walk/run, 10km bike ride and 1.5km walk/run.
The best thing about it is that you set the challenge – if you’re not a runner, you can walk it. The only goal is to cross the finish line. If you like, you can do the duathlon as a team. Grab two or three friends and do a leg each.
Training is more fun with company - whether you’re doing it on your own or as a group. Training with girlfriends, your partner or kids will help keep you motivated.
And don’t forget to enlist your support crew to cheer you on on the day! The duathlon is open to women over 14, but supporters can be any age.
